How does reading affect your brain…
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. the man who never reads is lives only one. — George R.R. Martin
I love to read
I fell in love at a time I don't remember.
I grew up in a tiny remote village near the famous holy river Ganga where most of the people were farmers 99% of them had never gone to school. My father did some schooling and joined as a government schoolteacher near my village.
I was admitted to my father's school where I got lots of books to read. The school had a small library. It had so many storybooks. Sometimes I carry some books home for study.
The second reason I love reading is I was curious about what happening around us so I started to read newspapers at an early age.
I have a long experience of reading is like the exercise of your brain.
Reading is like exercise for your brain. It helps it grow stronger and smarter.
1 Boosts your memory: When you read, you remember things better.
2 Improves your focus: Reading helps you pay attention for longer periods.
3 Reduces stress: Reading a good story can help you relax.
4 Helps you understand others: Books help you learn about different people and their feelings.
So, the next time you pick up a book, remember that you’re not just enjoying a story, you’re also giving your brain a workout!
Would you like to know about different types of books that can help you learn different things?
